TECHNICAL DATA SHEET

PRODUCT NAME

VanIsh 2000

DESCRIPTION

VanIsh 2000 is a clear water-based acrylic coating designed to provide a sacrificial barrier to graffiti and marking on masonry, concrete, previously painted surfaces and signwriting.

VanIsh 2000 has been specifically designed to leave the appearance of the protected surface unaltered, and will not "yellow" on exposure to sunlight.

VanIsh 2000 is resistant to many cleaning agents, some paint strippers, and most paints, but is readily removed by mildly alkaline solutions.

VanIsh 2000 is effective as a sealer for timber and other porous surfaces, but should not be considered a clear finish for timber exposed to direct weathering.

SURFACE
PREPARATION

Surface must be dry, clean and free from dust, loose particles, grease and oil, etc. Cleaning with high-pressure water (e.g. Gerni) is recommended prior to application of VanIsh 2000.

Concrete, particularly horizontal slabs, off-form or horizontally-cast items must be thoroughly cleaned to remove release oils and acid etched to remove laitance.

APPLICATION

VanIsh 2000 may be applied by brush, roller or airless spray; conventional spray may also be used where penetration is required.

COVERAGE
